Graphic Design plays a role in enculturation which is process of how an individual learns their culture through experience, observation, and instruction. Enculture Design is a studio that recognizes this and is dedicated to cultivating visual culture.

Its owner, Joe Bautista, is a designer and educator based out of Pasadena, California. Currently he is an adjunct professor at CSU Northridge and the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Downtown LA. He teaches a range of courses in both print and digital media. Some of the courses he has taught include graphic design/advertising, packaging, portfolio preparation, typography and web/interaction design.
